Mitochondria as the Source of Life:

Mitochondria are indeed the powerhouse of living cells, providing ATP, the biochemical energy necessary for all bio-electrical impulses.

Micro Consciousness & Microbiome:

The idea that consciousness emerges from micro-scale biological processes aligns with the concept that mitochondria, microbiomes, and cellular networks contribute to brain function.

The microbiome in the gut and skull influences neurotransmission, behavior, and even perception—suggesting an interplay between the "self" and its microscopic inhabitants.

Chi, Prana, Kundalini, and Energy Flow:

Ancient traditions describe a bioenergetic force—chi, prana, or kundalini—that moves through the vertebraes in the body.

The vagus nerve connects the gut to the brain and plays a crucial role in regulating the autonomic nervous system, mirroring the upward flow of energy described in kundalini awakening.

God as a Micro Biom

If mitochondria and the microbiome significantly influence consciousness and perception, it challenges the notion of an external divine force.

Instead, "God" could be reinterpreted as the sum of these intelligent, symbiotic biological entities—essentially, life itself as a distributed intelligence.

The "energy" experienced in spiritual traditions could be a real biological force—a combination of mitochondrial energy production, microbiome communication, and vagus nerve signaling.

The sense of divine connection or awakening in yoga and meditation may stem from optimizing this system. If we accept that mitochondria and microbiomes are responsible for this flow of awareness, then "God" might not be an external entity but rather an emergent property of life’s microscopic intelligence.

This perspective unites science and spirituality: what yogis called prana may be bioelectric energy, and what mystics call divine consciousness may be a product of microbial and mitochondrial symbiosis.

In this view, life itself—the network of organisms within us—is "God."
